The Baraza, held in Accra, Ghana, from April 14 to 16, 2025, was hosted by Trust Africa and the Center for Democracy and Development (CDD-GHANA), in collaboration with esteemed partners. It brought together social movements, activists, and advocates from across Africa and the diaspora to focus on strengthening African movements. RPPL's participation featured the Camel Caravan Advocacy Walk, which emphasized environmental conservation and the importance of rivers to local communities.

This year’s Baraza, themed “The Power of Movements,” provided an invaluable space for networking, collaboration, and collective action. The event’s objectives included:

• Foster Dialogue: Creating common African Movement Positions on critical global and local issues.
• Strengthen Networks: Building solidarity and strengthening African social movements.
• Showcase Experiences: Sharing lessons from diverse social movement leadership.
• Build Trust: Facilitating productive dialogue between movement leaders and funders.
• Amplify Voices: Elevating the voices of communities advocating for social justice and equality.
• Explore Solutions: Identifying and addressing challenges facing African movements.
